No testing this past weekend

Latest pics of the X3. We didn't get a chance to do some speed runs. We got kicked out of the parking lot area before we could get setup.

I've made some modifications since the last testing session. I removed the data logging equipment and switched to a 2s 800 mAh li-po receiver battery from the heavy 1400 mAh ni-mh pack. I think I took off about a pound of extra gear. I also changed the old stainless steel gear for the delrin gear. This delrin gear is about 1/3 the weight of the stainless steel.

We're still looking for some more room to run. The X3 is ready for a 100% full throttle pass. Its been trimmed as much as it can get for now. We might have to go back to the usual testing spot and what speeds we can get there.

nice car you are building, but I have a question, Do you know of anybody that can fix a remote control racing truck, my sons broke and we have been looking every where, but nothing. We live in Renville, MN. If you know of anyone, please email me.

Thanks for the comment!

What kind of truck is it?. I looked on the map and the only place that I am sure that could fix your son's rc truck is Hobbytown. Hobbytown is a big chain of RC stores in the U.S. It looks like there are a couple in the St.Paul area. I'm afraid its far for you to drive. Hobbytowns usually have a good selection of RC cars and staff that could possibly fix your sons truck. This seems to be the closest one to you:

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=en&geocode=1052312261432353985,44.789170,-95.216680&saddr=44.789206,-95.212154&daddr=15520+Oric+Ave,+Minnetonka,+MN+55345+(Hobbytown+USA)&mra=dme&mrcr=0&mrsp=0&sz=15&sll=44.788932,-95.200996&sspn=0.021533,0.037594&ie=UTF8&ll=44.853922,-94.301147&spn=1.376556,2.406006&z=9

I would call them and see if they could fix it before you went to the store. Here is the info for that location:

Hobbytown USA ‎Address:
15520 Oric Ave
Minnetonka, MN 55345

I dont know what your email is because this was listed as a comment on my blog. You can find my email in my profile.
